Practical training for advanced service technicians

In this training, the different techniques for replacing drums and tubs of washing machines and dryers are discussed. These are generally somewhat more complex and lengthy repairs. The basic principles of washing machine repairs are also repeated and further developed using the most current techniques and the latest service solutions. This training also specifically addresses a number of important ergonomic aspects, such as the safe use of lifting aids and stair climbers.

Target Group
This training is intended for advanced white goods technicians who have been servicing washing machines and dryers in consumers' homes (B2C) for several years now. At the end of this training you will be able to independently carry out these complex repairs, properly adjust and connect machines and you know how to use the correct lifting aids to transport the heavy parts.

Duration and nature of the training
This training is given in classroom form and covers a total of 2 half-days. During the first half of the day, the theory is treated with the help of demonstrations by the instructor. In part 2 of the training, the student gets to work on the basis of a number of concrete and practice-related assignments. Testing takes place by means of a digital test with open and multiple choice questions. Upon successful completion of the test, the student will receive a Certificate.
This training is a module of the Training Service & Repair Technician Advanced.

Entry Requirements
To participate in this training, candidates must have the following competencies, experience and level of knowledge:
• Diploma in MBO Technology or a comparable level of thinking based on. demonstrable work experience
• Basic knowledge of washing and drying techniques
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a service technician
• Affinity with household appliances
• Good communicative skills

Rates and availability
The price of this training is € 395 per student, excluding VAT and costs for the final test and certificate (see Rates).
The minimum group size is 4 students. With sufficient participation, this training is offered throughout the year.
