Basic: For starters

Is the repair technician profession new to you? Or have you already gained a little experience, but do you want to lay a good foundation for your further career and personal development? Then you start with the Service & Repair Technician Basic training. Here you will learn the basics of the service profession. You get to know the products of different brands, you learn to recognize complaints and how to solve them, but also what the cause of various complaints is and how they can be prevented. In this training you also train your soft skills, computer skills and general social and communication skills. In addition to theory and practice workshops, this training consists of a practical part, in which you set out under the guidance of an experienced Technician to carry out repairs or install products at customers' homes. After this training you can independently carry out standard repairs or connect/install appliances at consumers (B2C) homes.

Advanced: The next level

After completing the Service & Repair Technician Basic training, you have worked independently for a year and performed repairs or installed appliances for various brands at consumers' homes. You have further developed yourself and gained sufficient practical work experience to take the next step. In the advanced training you will learn what it takes to provide service in a B2B environment. Unlike in a B2C environment, you discover new and more complex product applications and in a number of specialization modules you learn the right techniques to repair and set these products in accordance with the requirements of the business use situation. In addition to theory lessons, practice workshops and specific soft skills training aimed at B2B customers, this training includes a practical internship in which you first get started in practice under the guidance of an experienced technician. After this training you can independently perform more complex repairs at consumers (B2C) at home and you can repair/install/adjust appliances on location at a business customer (B2B) under supervision.

Specialist: In-depth expansion

You have already gained at least 2 years of work experience as a Service & Repair Technician in alternating B2C and B2B environments and you are familiar with most service procedures and characteristics of the different manufacturers (brands). You are regularly asked for advice. Time to further specialize and broaden your knowledge and skills. In this training you will learn, among other things, how to guide less experienced technicians, you will practice various repair techniques with technicians in training and you will develop your own knowledge by means of. technical specializations such as calibration techniques or refrigeration repair. You also learn to diagnose complaints and trouble shooting remotely. Depending on the offer, you participate in train-the-trainer workshops from manufacturers, after which you teach what you have learned to others. After this training and at least 3 years of work experience, you are a specialist in your field and product group. You can independently diagnose and prepare repair orders for other technicians (assign necessary parts, give practical instructions and tips, etc.).

Specialist-trainer: Training & Coaching

You now have extensive work experience in the service field for consumer electronics and you enjoy transferring your knowledge and experience to others. Do you want to be the trainer of the future generation of Technicians? Then this training is for you. In this training you will learn how to transfer your knowledge in a motivating and efficient way. In addition to general trainer skills, you will learn how to structure lessons, how to stimulate your students and how to monitor and test their progress and results.
